‎Court Sentences 18-Year-Old to Prison for Stealing Herbal Medicine

‎A Magistrates’ Court in Jos, Plateau State, has sentenced one Joshua Gowol to prison for six months for stealing herbal medicine.
‎
‎On Wednesday, Magistrate Shawomi Bokkos convicted the 18-year-old trader for stealing after he pleaded guilty.
‎
‎Joshua had earlier stolen from Mary Michael’s shop who reported the incident to the Anglo-Jos Police Station on November 18th when she found the herbal medicine with the teenager on her way home from work, according to prosecutor Ijuptil Thiawur.
‎
‎The judgment by Magistrate Bokkos ordered a fine of N30,000 or that he be remanded in prison for six months.
