Court Orders One Month Free Subscription For Gotv, DStv Subscribers

Multichoice company owners of DStv and Gotv have been fined one hundred and fifty million naira for challenging orders given by the Nigerian court.

On Friday delivering the judgement, the tribunal also ordered Multichoice to give a one-month free subscription to its customers in Nigeria.

The Competition and Consumer Protection three-member panel led by Thomas Okosu revealed that despite asking the company not to increase the tariffs and cost of products and services, they went against the jurisdiction order.
