Court Dismiss Binani Upholds Fintiri’s Election As Governor of Adamawa State

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has disqualified the petition by the All Progressive Congress governorship candidate Aisha ‘Binani’ Dahiru.

The petition sought to nullify the election of Ahmadu Fintiri as the duly elected governor of Adamawa state.

In its judgment on Monday, the court held that the Adamawa governorship election petition tribunal was right in declaring Fintiri as the valid winner of the state election.
