CIISM promises to Induct DELCOM participants

The Chartered Institute of Information Management Strategy, CIISM, has thrown its height behind the 6th edition of Delta State Strategic communication Workshop, Delcom 2025.

A statement on Tuesday by the CIISM Registrar and Governing Council Secretary, Adelanke Oyintoke, said DELCOM 2025 participants, including those who participated in the previous five editions shall be inducted into the CIISM Professional Hall of Fame as members of the Institute.

Oyintoke further disclosed that the Institute’s governing Council took the decision after the careful review of DELCOM Workshop Modules, and the Professional backgrounds of past and present trainers which includes; renowned Professors of Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising with particular reference to Prof Raph Akinfeleye, Prof Abigail Ogwezzy Ndisika, Prof Godwin Oboh, Prof Joyce Ogwezi, Prof Presley Obukoadata, and several others.

CIISM noted that Delcom has become a regular annual event where professionals and academicians brainstorm with participants to build skills and advance knowledge in the field of Journalism, Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations.

The Institute commended the State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, over his human capital development policy, while also recognizing Delcom convener and State Coordinator, Fred Latimore, for the consistent successes recorded by DELCOM since inception six years ago.
