Akpabio Saga: Actress Dakore Blows Hot, Threatens Legal Suit Against Blog

Trouble brewed on social media last week after Senate President, Godswill Akpabio was dragged for insulting a female lawmaker who asked that funds be released to rebuild a burnt market but Akpabio refused that government funds were not meant for that.
In response an Instagram blog dragged the Senate President, releasing a phone number allegedly to be Akpabio’s, his wife and two mistresses (side chicks).
One of the alleged side chicks is Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, who has denied the rumour of having an affair with the senator.
Dakore revealed in her Instagram post that she has never met with Akpabio and such a lie against her by the blog trying to dent her personality would be treated legally and anyone who could provide evidence of her affair with Akpabio would be rewarded with 5 million naira.
Reacting with a post on her Instagram page, the movie star said “I saw calls and text messages this morning, alerting me to a very wicked lie from the pit of hell. I must say that I am very disappointed, I am very shocked, I am appalled and I want to categorically state that I have never in my life met the senate president.
“I have not had any cause to see him or be in the same room with him not to talk of being his side chick. I am happily married, I have two beautiful children… so for a blogger, a jobless wicked blogger to decide to put my name amongst women who have been with this man is totally wicked and unfounded.
“It is a lie from the pit of hell and I am ready for any legal action because, at this point, you have messed with the wrong person. I keep to myself, I mind my business, I drink water and I do my work. So for someone to want to tarnish my hard-earned name and image for some clicks, no way.
“I am not going to stand for it, I am not going to accept it and I am not going to be quiet about it. I want to put it out there, anyone who can say I have been with this man and you have hard evidence, video or audio, I would give you N5 million right now.
“Because I have worked too hard for my name and reputation for someone to just wake up one morning and want to cause wahala in my life. I reject it and I categorically stand against it.”
