After Months On Medical Treatment, Ondo Governor Returns Home

The executive Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has returned to Nigeria after months of his medical trip abroad.

This information was confirmed by a reliable source in the government circle that the Akeredolu returned on Thursday.

The source, who pleaded anonymity, said Governor Akeredolu landed in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, and would be staying at his private residence to take some rest.

Adding further, he said some members of the cabinet are already on their way to welcome him back to the country.

Also the wife of the governor, Betty Anyanwu, posted a photograph of her husband on social media with a tag “homebound.”

Governor Akeredolu had left Nigeria for a 21-day leave and medical trip to attend to his health in Germany.
