Abuja Shopping Mall Guts With Fire Hours After Ibadan Explosion

A fire outbreak occurred in a popular shopping centre in the Gwarinpa area of Abuja on Wednesday.

The information was shared by an X user @Mister_Mash with a video showing how the fire engulfed the IC World Emporia Centre building.

The x-handle user said the incident happened at about 4:13 am and he called on @Fedfireng emergency line 0803 200 3557 but the woman hung up.

According to the witness he later dialled 112 and was directed to call 122, the user added that 122 also directed him to call 112.

Social media was buzzing with videos from the incident before the Nigeria fire service came to the scene to extinguish the fire.

This is coming barely a few hours after an explosion was reported in Ibadan, Oyo State.
