FAAC Shares N2.428 Trillion September Revenue to FG, States, LGs

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared N2.428 trillion among the Federal Government, 36 state governments, and 774 local government councils as revenue generated in September 2026.

​According to a communiqué issued at the end of the committee’s meeting on Thursday in Abuja, the September revenue allocation recorded a notable increase compared to the N2.338 trillion disbursed in the preceding month of August.

​The total distributable revenue comprised N1.672 trillion in statutory revenue and N756.587 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT) proceeds.

​FAAC revealed that gross federation revenue for September reached N3.913 trillion. Out of this total, N131.758 billion was deducted for collection costs, while N1.352 trillion was directed toward statutory transfers, refunds, and national savings.
