Post created on 3:37 pm

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has pledged to implement economic relief measures and restore security nationwide if elected in 2027, blaming President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the country’s escalating cost of living.

Atiku made the pledge in a statement posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, calling on registered citizens to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former vice president noted that Nigerians across diverse demographics and economic brackets are suffering severe financial strain and worsening insecurity under the current administration.

Atiku urged voters to view their PVCs as critical tools for economic recovery, promising that an ADC-led government would prioritize policies to bring down inflation, protect lives, and stabilize the national economy.
