Street, Cars Submerged in Abuja Flood

Residents are calling on the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, over the recent flooding seen in Wuse Zone 1, Katampe, Durumi, Gwarinpa, Gaduwa, and Gudu, including other parts of the state.

A viral video shared on X shows parts of Wuse 2, including Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, the bridge near City Park, a plaza, and several vehicles submerged in floodwater after a heavy downpour, while residents slam the FCT Minister for abandoning the Abuja master plan.

Several critics keep questioning and blaming Wike for the sale of green areas and parks for estates with blocked drainage and sewage spills.
