Nursing Student Beheaded in Imo College

A gruesome murder carried out by unknown assailants at the College of Nursing, Umulogho, in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State against one nursing student identified as Wendy Achumba has left the institution in shock.

The midwifery graduate, who was in her post-basic training, was beheaded at her off-campus apartment on Thursday, and her body has been deposited in a morgue.

The spokesperson for the Imo State Command, Henry Okoye, confirmed the incident and stated that a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the killer; however, a suspect has been arrested and is undergoing investigation.
