Various videos online show how task forces move around door to door, demanding the repatriation of African migrants, whether residing legally or not.

A recent video shows a man trespassing late at night, filming a quiet settlement occupied by African migrants, insisting that foreigners are taking their sleep and must leave South Africa to return to their own countries.

The man filming the houses in the neighborhood at an odd hour says, “These foreigners are sleeping nicely in their homes while we South Africans are outside in the cold. They must go back to their country. They can’t come here and take our sleep.”
