Iran/U.S. War: Kenya Faces High Fuel Prices
Post created on 1:02 pm

The Middle East war between Iran and the United States is impacting countries around the world, and Kenya is not exempt as the country struggles with high fuel prices.
About 20% of Kenya’s independent fuel dealers are currently affected, as fuel supplies and deals with Gulf producers and refiners are under threat. The chairman of the Petroleum Outlets Association of Kenya, Martin Chomba, is trying to seek government intervention to allow Kenyan fuel retailers to source fuel from private suppliers.
Despite the global hike, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority placed a 30-day price freeze on petroleum products on March 14.
