Mother of Two Hacks Husband and Side Chick to Death in Ughelli

A mother of two has brutally murdered her husband in cold blood, along with his side chick, in Ughelli over constant infidelity.

The Isoko woman, who is currently in police custody and resides in the Ighwre-Ovie area of Ughelli North, inflicted multiple machete cuts on her husband’s skull when she became fed up with his extramarital affairs with the mistress, who lives in the same area as them.

A source disclosed that the suspect continually accused her husband of cheating. On that day, when the husband returned home drunk, he was met with various machete cuts to his head, killing him instantly.

In anger, a female neighbor who tried to intervene by stopping her had her jaw slit and is currently receiving medical treatment.

The source further stated that the woman went to the husband’s side chick’s house in the same area, used a hammer, and struck her skull.

Her arrest was made possible by the alarm raised by the neighbor of the side chick, who escaped being attacked.

Officer SP Edafe Bright has yet to comment on the issue, but a senior security source from the Delta State Police Command confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
