Lagos Police Detain Peller Over Accident Stunt On Live Stream

Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has been arrested by the police after he recklessly crashed his car during a live stream on Sunday.

Peller was detained on Tuesday, December 16th, according to a statement by the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, following widespread condemnation of suicidal content stunts.

The Force condemned the social media influencer’s act as extremely dangerous, which could have been fatal, posing a serious threat to both Peller and road users at that time.

Therefore, for public safety and immediate intervention, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation.
