New Minimum Wage To Start Soon In Delta — Oborewori

To get things ready for the implantation of the new national minimum wage, Commissioner for Information in Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, has revealed that all preparations are put in place to see its actualization.

Osuoza made this known on Wednesday on behalf of the state government after the State Executive Council meeting in Asaba.

He told newsmen that Governor Sheriff Oborewori has directed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, and the Commissioner for Finance, Chief Fidelis Tilije, to finalize discussion with NLC to see the adjustments of the minimum wage.

The Commissioner further said Governor Oborewori is passionate about the cries of people in the state due to the hardship, especially the youths.
