Tinubu’s Trending Video Is Old – Onanuga

There have been words of war between aides of President Bola Tinubu over a video that was posted on X where the president was assuring citizens of better days ahead.

The said video was posted on Wednesday on Tinubu’s X and Instagram handles, where he urged Nigerians to navigate through the temporary pains and look forward to a stable and prosperous future for all.

In a later twist, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, at about 10:18 pm posted the same video with a different caption.

Onanuga revealed that the video trending was an old clip of President Tinubu last year as the president has not made any public broadcast since the last he did on Sunday

Social media users are now wondering, after Onanuga’s tweet, what exactly is happening as O’tega Ogra, a Senior Special Assistant to Tinubu, had earlier tagged the video that it was a plea from the President.
