Youths In Niger Gave LG Chair Sallah Beating

As Muslims all over the world were celebrating Eid-el-Kabir known as Sallah, the local government chairman in Katcha, Niger State received a sallah beating from youths over an unpaid debt.

Danlamin Abdullahi Saku borrowed N1.3m from his friend over a year ago and has continuously refused to make a refund anytime he was asked to pay.

When one of the boys who was sent to collect the debt was slapped by the chairman, in retaliation youths stormed his residence and gave him the beating of his life.

The angry boys beat Saku to a state of unconsciousness before he was later rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
