INEC Marks 100 Days to 2027 Polls With Stakeholders’ Meeting in Abuja

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will hold a national stakeholders’ meeting and World Press Conference on Tuesday to mark 100 days to the 2027 general elections.

​According to an official statement from the commission, the event will provide comprehensive updates on election preparations, focusing on the voters’ register, candidate nominations, security measures, and logistics needed today protect the integrity of the ballot.

​The meeting will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, with an address by INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, alongside key electoral stakeholders.

INEC stated that the high-level engagement is designed to brief Nigerians and international observers on the commission’s operational readiness as the country enters the final 100-day countdown to the 2027 polls.
