FG Offers N62k As New Minimum Wage

Following the meeting with the tripartite committee after the nationwide strike was called off by the Nigeria Labour Congress for one week over the stipulated amount to be paid as minimum wage, the Federal Government has come up with a template.

The last negotiation by the Federal Government was N60,000 but as of the time of reporting the offer has been increased to N62,000 why the Organized Labour has reduced their offer from N494,000 to N250,000.

Organized Private sectors are also backing the Federal Government on the N62,000 but the meeting was adjourned since no agreement was reached between the tripartite committee and Labour.
