Egbetokun Officially Assumes Office At Force Headquarters

The newly appointed acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, has assumed office at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Egbetokun took over officially after the handing over by IGP Usman Baba.

President Bola Tinubu appointed Egbetokun as the new acting IGP alongside the Service Chiefs on Tuesday.

He was decorated on Wednesday at the presidential villa by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Shortly after Egbetokun’s decoration, the acting IGP declared war on all criminals and enemies of Nigeria that he feels like a Tiger and Lion ready to chase all criminals and Nigeria’s enemies.
