Colleagues, friends, and family of gospel singer and crew members who died at a studio in Abraham Adesanya, Ajah, Lagos State, are demanding justice and a thorough investigation for the deceased.
The four victims are Matthew Ogundele, Itunu Ogundele, Joseph Sanya, and a blogger, Matthew Awosanya, popularly known as JoesTv. Their lifeless bodies were found inside the music studio following their performance at a birthday praise party organized by a fellow gospel artist.
The three-day virtual birthday praise party was conducted by Olanireti Akinbola, and the victims performed on Tuesday. However, due to the late hours of the night and the distance to their homes, they reportedly slept in the studio, but their corpses were discovered the next morning.
The mother of one of the deceased, Matthew, cried out on Saturday, seeking Nigerians’ help in fighting for justice, even as the police noted that the bodies had been deposited in the morgue and an autopsy would be carried out.
