Udu Council of chiefs Suspends Otota

Tension in Udu Kingdom, as Udu Council of Chiefs have passed a vote of no confidence in the Otota of the Kingdom, Chief Sam Odibo over alleged insubordination, negligence and betrayal.
The Udu Council of Chiefs passed the vote of no confidence in the Otota on Wednesday at a meeting held the Palace in Aladja Community.
Speaking, Udu Chiefs including, Chief Christian Wiliki, Chief Pleasure Ghavwan, amongst others alleged that recent action of the Otota of Udu Kingdom who is the Prime Minister of Udu Kingdom, Chief Sam Odibo has been at variance to his exalted position in the transition period.
They accused him of compromise over the Union of Udu Communities, UUC and Udu Traditional Council noting his action aided the hijack of the processes.
The Udu Council of Chiefs later announced the suspension of Chief Sam Odibo as the Otota and ratified the nomination of Chief Matthew Uparan Odjeku as the acting Otota of Udu Kingdom.
