Woman Dies After BBL Injection In Lekki

A nurse working with a butt enlargement clinic has been arrested by the Lagos State Police over the death of a 36-year-old patient, Mrs Abiola, who came for a buttocks enlargement on Monday.

Reports had it that the late Mrs. Abiola, who resides at Diamond Estate, Sangotedo-Lekki, asked her driver to take her down to a clinic at Lekki Phase 1 at 3:00 am for a BBL injection for buttocks enlargement.

According to the spokesperson of Lagos Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, following the incident, the driver of the deceased reported to the Maroko Police Division on Tuesday.

On arrival at the clinic, the owner of the clinic had instructed the nurse to inject the patient, but she became unconscious and started gasping for air; she was rushed to a nearby clinic also at Lekki Phase 1 but was confirmed dead on arrival.

The nurse has been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing.
