Benjamin Kalu Speaks On Niger, Burkina, Mali Come Back

Tactics and mechanisms are been deployed by the Economic Community of West African countries, ECOWAS, in other for Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali to return to the bloc.

Speaking at a joint meeting of the Parliament Committee on Administration, Finance, Budget, Public Accounts, Macroeconomic Policy and Economic Research in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, that the three countries’ threat to leave the regional bloc is seriously looked into.

He said letters have been sent to them, and very soon, representatives will be visiting the heads of government for negotiations.

Kalu, who serves as the chairman of the parliament committee, said there was no cause for alarm as the doors will be open for Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger to come back to the family as they are a part needed.
