Army Vow Fierce Attack On IPOB Over Death Of Soldiers In Aba

The Nigerian Army has vowed a reprisal attack on the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, for killing five of its officers deployed to the Obikiabia junction at Ogbor Hills, Aba in Abia State yesterday.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba,

It states that the military would retaliate the death of the troops who were killed at the checkpoint when the terrorists surrounded them with a surprise attack.

As the lives lost are being mourned by the Nigerian Army investigation is currently ongoing to see total defeat of the IPOB/ESN.

Recalled that an attack was launched on May 30 on a group of soldiers on patrol after the IPOB declared Biafra no movement day across the South East region.
