Oregun Fire: Pastor Chris To Build Bigger Auditorium For Church

A mysterious fire hit the headquarters of the Love World International also known as Christ Embassy, located in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State early hours of Sunday bringing down the church auditorium and office complex.

Recounting the ordeal, some members ascribed the inferno to spiritual as the cause of the fire is still unknown while others attribute it to a power surge.

The fire which started at 7:00 am was finally put out around 3:00 pm without any casualty recorded, however, the church service was held at Asese, the Crusade Ground along Lagos/Ibadan expressway, Ogun State where the church just concluded their one-week program.

According to a church member identified as Chinonso, they saw the church building razed down on social media during the Thanksgiving service at Asese.

Already the Lagos State government said an integrity check would be carried out on the building as some parts of the wall are cracked by the inferno,
On the part of the President of Love World, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, urged members of the church not to worry about the incident as a new structure would be built.
