President Bola Tinubu has declared three days of national mourning and directed that flags fly at half-mast across the country following the deaths of Nigerian Air Force personnel in Monday’s military aircraft crash in Ondo State.

In an official statement released Tuesday, the President paid tribute to the fallen officers, describing their death as a profound loss for the military, their families, and the nation.

President Tinubu commended the dedication of Air Force personnel who risk their lives daily to maintain national security, assuring the public that the sacrifice of the deceased officers would be honored and remembered.

The President extended his condolences to the bereaved families, emphasizing that the entire country stands in solidarity with them during this period of national grief.
