Kaduna: Six confirmed dead in fresh attacks

No fewer than six persons have been killed in fresh attacks in Jemma local government of Kaduna State.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday Morning in Ungwan Bido Village.

Speaking on behalf of the government of Kaduna State, the commissioner for internal security and Home Affairs stated that the attack follows a reported killing of a herder, Isiyaku Saidu of Ungwan Pah village of Jema’s local government area.

The commissioner said “Security agencies have furthered reported that Ungwan Bido village was attacked today, Sunday, 29th November, 2020, where some local residents were killed and four injured. Two children are missing.

“The six persons killed are Silas Maman, Malaki Tabat, Geoffrey Andrew, Anna Ahmadu, Sunday Tagwai and Fidelis Musa.”

Meanwhile Governor Nasir El-Rufai the governor Of Kaduna state has condoled with the families of the deceased and injured ones urging security agencies to work with the state government.
