This followed a one-day dialogue on Peaceful Coexistence for Sustainable Livelihood facilitated by the Warri Multi-Stakeholder Platform for Peaceful Coexistence of Ijaws and Itsekiris and supported by the Partnership Initiative for Niger Delta (PIND).

Some members of two ethnic groups who spoke while urging governments at all levels to develop policy and legal framework for the establishment and management of markets to forestall misunderstanding that has trailed the issue, reiterated their commitment to Peace.

The Facilitator for Multi stakeholders platform Austin Onuoha commended the cooperation between the two ethnic groups especially during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Co-Chairman of The stakeholders platform Mr Jeffery Wiliki on his part maintained that tolerance remains critical in driving peace process.
